Dear Colleague,

Every Job Matters – Defending Jobs on London Underground

Further to my previous correspondence dated 15th July, members are reminded of the upcoming strike action starting tomorrow. All Station Grades members are instructed NOT TO BOOK ON for any shifts that commence between:-

•    18:30 hours on Wednesday 5th August and 18:29 hours on Thursday 6th August 2015

The previous instruction NOT TO WORK ANY OVERTIME from 21:30 hours on Thursday 9th July 2015 until further notice also remains in place.

During talks at ACAS earlier this week, LUL presented a “dispute resolution proposal” to your RMT negotiating team however, as has been the case since this programme was announced in November 2013 and throughout the extensive consultations that have taken place, LUL’s proposals do not meet our demands. The simple fact is that the issues over unacceptable job losses, unacceptable displaces, unacceptable rosters and unacceptable changes to your terms and conditions remain unresolved and this dispute will remain in place until such time as these issues are addressed to the satisfaction of all LUL Station Grades members.

I urge you all to make sure that this strike action is as solid as before and to demand that LUL cease its decimation of your jobs and terms and conditions.

Yours sincerely
Mick Cash
General Secretary
