OVERTIME BAN

Our Ref: LUL/14/5

26th January 2016

Dear Colleague,

EVERY JOB MATTERS – DEFENDING JOBS ON LONDON UNDERGROUND

Further to yesterday’s announcement that the strike action today and tomorrow is suspended, I want to clarify that the OVERTIME BAN FOR RMT STATION GRADES MEMBERS REMAINS IN PLACE. It has been in place since Sunday 3rd January and all Station Grades members are instructed not to work any overtime until further notice.

As you will be aware, this matter is due for further consideration by the National Executive Committee tomorrow where they will be discussing and deciding on what form(s) the action will take during the EVERY JOB MATTERS WEEK OF ACTION COMMENCING SUNDAY 7TH FEBRUARY 2016. This will coincide with the date LUL has given for its Fit for the Future Stations proposals to ‘go live’, although no agreement has been reached with the Union.

SUPPORT THE OVERTIME BAN
STAND FIRM TOGETHER – UNITY IS STRENGTH

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
