Industrial action at Wabtec Faiveley UK (Rail Doncaster) suspended

RAIL UNION RMT confirmed today that it has suspended industrial action that was due to start tomorrow at Wabtec Faiveley UK (Rail Doncaster).

This is because an improved pay offer has been made, therefore the union is suspending the upcoming industrial action so that the affected members can be canvassed for their opinion via a referendum on whether to accept it or not.

Therefore the strike action which was due to start at 06:00 on Wednesday 4th September and the subsequent strike action which was due to start at 06:00 hours on Monday 16th September has been suspended.

Additionally, the overtime ban which was due to start on Wednesday 11th September and recommence on Monday 23rd September is also suspended. Members are instructed to work as normal.

Ends.
