Initial RMT response to Secretary of State's interim report into Carmont derailment

“RMT will be studying this interim report closely and consulting with our members and reps before we produce a detailed response in due course.

“We will be focussing on a range of issues including cuts to the Network Rail maintenance budget and the proliferation of the use of contractors and the casualisation of skilled jobs."
