4 WEEKLY PAY, TUPE TRANSFER – NEMOL TO STADLER

 

Your Regional Organiser has been involved in discussions with Stadler to try to resolve the issue of moving from weekly pay to four-weekly pay, which would align the internal processes of Stadler UK across its various sites.

 

The feedback we have had from our members is that they are resistant to moving from weekly pay to four-weekly pay without due recompense. Your negotiating team have met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-

 

 A £500 tax free lump sum payment payable to all affected employees.

 

 All members will also receive a company level Health Shield membership which can be used to recover costs associated with health and wellbeing of up to £375 per year. This membership would also cover a single payment of £115 for dental accidents and a single payment for personal accident protection of £5000 per employee.

 

Having considered the views of your negotiating team the NEC is recommending that you vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer as we believe this is the best offer that can be achieved through negotiation in this current economic climate. The on-line referendum will close at 10:00 hours on Friday 7th  August 2020.

You will shortly receive an email from a company called “Election Runner” which will provide a link to allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10:00 hours on Friday 7th  August 2020 when voting closes.
