ABROGATION OF ROSTERING AGREEMENTS, OFFICE BASED MANAGERS WORKING TRAINS ON SUNDAYS, SENIOR CONDUCTORS – CROSS COUNTRY TRAINS

Our Ref: BR2/8/2

25th September 2017

Dear Colleague

ABROGATION OF ROSTERING AGREEMENTS, OFFICE BASED MANAGERS WORKING TRAINS ON SUNDAYS, SENIOR CONDUCTORS – CROSS COUNTRY TRAINS

All Cross Country Senior Conductor members should now have received their ballot paper for the above dispute. If you have not yet done so please make sure you return your ballot paper to the Scrutineer by the closing date of Tuesday 3rd October 2017.

If you have not received your ballot paper please contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 or 0207 387 4771 as soon as possible. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the ballot for industrial action so we are not prevented from acting on members’ wishes by the new ballot thresholds.

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION AND ‘YES’ FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE to get management back around the negotiating table for meaningful talks in the hope of reaching a lasting agreement relating to Sunday working arrangements and eliminate the need for managers working services.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE – RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION AND ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

I will, of course, keep you fully advised on any further developments.

Best wishes.

General Secretary
