Alstom Pay Freeze – Rail Industry - Chester

Our Ref: BR2/0001/AT
22nd March 2021

Dear Colleagues

Alstom Pay Freeze – Rail Industry - Chester

VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION & ‘YES’ FOR ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

The closing date for the ballot is Thursday 25th March 2021 - so if you haven't done so already - now is the time to vote. Due to new balloting laws, I cannot stress enough how important it is that you fill in your ballot paper and return it as quickly as possible.

If you have not received a ballot paper, then please contact the RMT Freephone Helpline immediately on 0800 376 3706 or the RMT switchboard on 020 7387 4771 and ask for the industrial relations department, where a replacement ballot paper will be sent to you by first class post. Also, if you are aware of a colleague who has not received their ballot paper, ask them to call one of the above numbers to update their details and to receive a replacement ballot paper. Alternatively, you can e-mail the RMT at info@rmt.org.uk to request a replacement ballot paper.

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote 'YES' for strike action and 'YES' for industrial action short of a strike.

Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is now “Civica Elections Services”. Letters from Civica are not junk mail and should be opened.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION &
‘YES’ FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
