Dear RMT Member,

 

APPOINTMENT OF ADMINISTRATORS — TXM PLANT LTD.

 

Further to my previous correspondence regarding this matter, I am writing to advise you that your union remains vigilant with regards to the administration process TXM Plant are currently undergoing. 

 

Concerns have been raised regarding the company’s failure to provide a redundancy consultation process therefore the Union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to pursue a claim for a Protective Award on behalf of members at TXM Plant Ltd. I am currently taking the necessary steps and will write to you again shortly with further details of this claim.

 

Members are also reminded that unpaid wages, notice pay, and annual leave pay can be claimed from the insolvency service. Please contact the administrators for assistance with this.

 

Your representatives and officers will continue to be actively involved with this process and are scrutinising all possible avenues for your essential work to be secured. Correspondence has been received from Network Rail providing assurances that the existing workbank allocated to TXM Plant Ltd will be retained, and that options for potential buy out or contract takeover opportunities by other entities remains a possibility.
