Dear Colleague

BREACH OF DIGNITY & RESPECT POLICY, FLEET MAINTENANCE STAFF, PERTH DEPOT – ABELLIO SCOTRAIL

All Abellio Scotrail A1.3, A3.3 & B2.2 grade members should now have received their ballot paper for the above dispute, from the independent scrutineer Civica. If you have not yet done so, please make sure you return your ballot paper to the scrutineer by the closing date of Thursday 22nd April 2021.

If you have not received your ballot paper or if you know of a colleague who has not received theirs, please email us at info@rmt.org.uk or contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 and a replacement ballot paper will be sent out to your home address first class post.

Do not waste your vote. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the ballot for industrial action so we are not prevented from acting on our members’ wishes by the ballot thresholds. Failure to meet these thresholds means industrial action cannot happen so a high turnout is absolutely crucial.

I urge you all to use your vote. Vote 'YES' for strike action and ‘YES’ for action short of a strike to demand that Abellio Scotrail provide absolute assurances that the manager in question has been sanctioned under the policy rather than promoted and rewarded for the misconduct.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE – RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION AND ‘YES’ FOR ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

I will, of course, keep you fully advised on any further developments.

Best wishes.

General Secretary
