BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Our Ref: LUL/14/2

5th February 2018

Dear Colleague,

BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Firstly, you and your colleagues are congratulated for your commitment and solidarity in this dispute having taken three days of solid strike action so far.

Talks with the Company have taken place and a meeting was held on Monday 29th January to try to resolve the dispute. Sadly your Reps met with a brick wall from management with the Company still failing to honour our agreements. At the meeting, ISS refused to enter into pay talks stating all staff would get is the LLW (London Living Wage) and continued to insist that RPO hours should be made up to 40 hours outside of their grade.

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee and it has taken the decision to call on all ISS (KAD Contract) members to take further industrial action. Therefore, you and your colleagues are instructed not to book on for any turns of duty that commence between:-

• 05:30 hours on Thursday 22nd February 2018 and 05:29 hours on Saturday 24th February 2018.

I strongly urge all members to take part in the above strike action, as you have all been doing so far, to demand that the Company resolve these issues without further delay.
