BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Our Ref: LUL/14/2

17th January 2018

Dear Colleague,

BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Following the rock solid strike action taken by members over New Year’s Eve, your Lead Officer has reported that regrettably, there has been no constructive progress made with the Company since the ballot result. This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee and it has taken the decision to call on all ISS (KAD Contract) members to take further industrial action.

Therefore, you and your colleagues are instructed not to book on for any turns of duty that commence between:-

•    05:30 hours on Thursday 1st February 2018 and 05:29 hours on Saturday 3rd February 2018.

You are also instructed not to deviate from current valid approved risk assessments between the times specified below:-

•    05:30 hours on Monday 5th February 2018 and 05:29 hours on Saturday 10th February 2018.

I urge you all to stand firm together during the industrial action listed above to demand that the Company meet us with a genuine desire to resolve the issues and reach agreement rather than forcing changes on you and your colleagues.

SUPPORT THE UNION
SUPPORT THE STRIKE
SUPPORT YOUR COLLEAGUES

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
