BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

Our Ref: LUL/14/2

15th December 2017

Dear Colleague,

BREACH OF MACHINERY – ISS (KAD CONTRACT)

I am writing in relation to my previous letter and where I advised you of the successful ballot result for Industrial action and action short of a strike. The National Executive Committee has considered this matter and believes that due to the company’s continued failure to address our concerns that we have no other alternative but to call industrial action. Your RMT Reps have continually chased management for answers but the company are blatantly ignoring our concerns.

Therefore, you and your colleagues are instructed not to book on for any turns of duty that commence between:-

• 0600 hours on Sunday 31st December 2017 until 0559 hours on Monday 1st January 2018

I urge you all to stand firm together during the industrial action listed above to demand that management properly adhere to our agreed machineries and stop trying to impose fundamental changes to your working conditions without any agreement from your Union.

SUPPORT THE UNION
SUPPORT THE STRIKE
SUPPORT YOUR COLLEAGUES

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
