RMT SUSPENDS INDUSTRIAL ACTION CALLED
FOR 26TH SEPTEMBER TO 1ST OCTOBER
ALL OTHER ACTION REMAINS ON

Dear Colleague

BREACH OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT – CROSS COUNTRY

I write to advise you that the National Executive Committee has considered a report from the lead officer following discussions where a dispute resolution proposal was tabled by the company.

Having considered the report as well as the correspondence from the company the NEC believes sufficient progress has been made to allow the next set of industrial action starting from tomorrow to be suspended. This will allow us time to consult with your company council representatives on these proposals. Consequently members are instructed to work normally between 26th September and 1st October.

Please be advised that the next period of industrial action called from Thursday 17th October 2019 to Tuesday 22nd October 2019 remains in place at the present time.

Once the consultation with your reps has concluded I will write to you again once the NEC has considered their recommendations.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
