DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE

VOTE YES FOR STRIKE ACTION & ACTION SHORT OF STRIKE

RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER BY TUESDAY 11 JUNE 2019

Dear Colleague

BREACH OF THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT – CROSS COUNTRY

This dispute is about management holding negotiations outside the Collective Bargaining Agreement and imposing changes to companywide agreements without the involvement of the RMT. Your union believes that Cross Country is in breach of the Collective Bargaining Agreement because management are imposing changes to the flexible working policy, refusing to recognise the RMT to represent Drivers and discussing changes to the disciplinary procedures without any involvement of your union.

We cannot sit back and allow this to happen and the only way to stop management undermining your union is by voting YES for industrial action and returning your ballot paper as soon as possible.

You should now have received your voting paper for the above ballot. If you have not done so already please make sure you return it to the Scrutineer by closing date of Tuesday 11 June 2019.

If you have not received your ballot paper please call the Helpline on 0800 376 3706 or Head Office on 0207 387 4771 and ask for the Industrial Relations Department or you can e-mail us at info@rmt.org.uk.

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote 'YES' for strike action and 'YES' for industrial action short of a strike.

I will, of course, keep you fully advised on any further developments.

Best wishes.
