Dear Colleague
CHANGES TO TIMETABLE – CROSS COUNTRY
Further to my previous correspondence with regards to the above matter and where I informed you that the Union had not been notified by Cross Country management of their 13-week timetable change, which is due to take place from Saturday 10th August to Saturday 9thNovember 2024.
I can now advise you that the matter has been considered by the union’s National Executive Committee who are appalled that Cross Country has declared an emergency timetable without any consultation with the RMT and any regard for our members.
The actions taken by management serve as further proof of the incompetence of Cross Country and the lack of any level of concern for the work/life balance for our members. This is yet another example of the abject failure of Cross Country and their approach to industrial relations.
The Executive Committee has instructed me to report back on any further developments and to continue to vigorously lobby the Department of Transport.
I trust this keeps you fully advised on the matter and I will, of course, update you on any further developments.
Yours sincerely
Michael Lynch
General Secretary
