CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR & PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS – AMEY

I write in relation to the above matter. Amey submitted their proposed arrangements for pay and leave over the Christmas and New Year 2017-2018 period. These have now been considered by your NEC who have instructed me to tell the company of our acceptance but to also inform them that we reserve the right to renegotiate the proposal should an improved offer be made to Network rail.

The Pay & Leave arrangements are as follows:

•    Christmas Day        Bonus payment, double time and a day off in lieu
•    Boxing Day        Bonus payment, double time and a day off in lieu
•    New Year’s Day    Bonus payment, double time and a day off in lieu

•    Bonus Payment is £400, plus an additional £100 for all employees in scope who sign up before 30th September 2017. (Please note that the company was notified of our acceptance on 29th September 2017 so the £100 is payable)

•    Where Collective Bargaining terms have been transferred, eligible employee will have the option to either remain on transferred deals or opt for Amey Christmas Working Pay Arrangements.

I attach the Christmas Working Arrangements and Bank Holiday schedule for substitute bank holidays arrangements.
