Dear RMT Member

DE-RECOGNITION - SUPERVISORY AND CLERICAL GRADES - CROSS COUNTRY

Since I last wrote to members, The RMT Union have been attempting to resolve the dispute with the company.

The company have further provoked matters by arranging meetings with other Trade Unions to negotiate on policy without the involvement of your Union. We wrote to the company last week to demand that they stop arranging meetings without the RMT involvement and to confirm the RMT is the recognised union for supervisory and clerical grades.

Disapprovingly, the company have failed to provide these guarantees and are instead antagonising the situation. The actions of the company pose a real threat to all Cross Country members. We must not let the company dictate who represents you and we must not allow them to rip up long standing agreements.

After carefully considering the views of your Lead Officer and Company Council the Union's National Executive Committee believes we must now take industrial action and send Cross Country management a clear message.

Therefore, the Union's NEC is instructing all Cross Country members to take Strike Action by not booking on for any shifts that commence between

ยท         0001 Hours and 2359 Hours on Saturday 13th April 2024

I ask that you and your colleagues stand shoulder to shoulder during the day of strike action and that you continue to support your colleagues.

Yours sincerely,

Michael Lynch
General Secretary
