DEFENDING JOBS, PENSIONS AND AGREEMENTS – LONDON UNDERGROUND

 

EMERGENCY RESPONSE UNIT OVERTIME BAN

 

A report has been received from your Lead Officer regarding LUL’s proposed organisational change including job cuts and an associated unacceptable roster for ERU members. Your RMT Reps have been in talks to resist these job cuts and protect your terms and conditions but the matter has not been resolved and LUL has refused our request for talks at dispute resolution level as part of this dispute. LUL has also refused to consider alternative proposals tabled by your Union to resolve the issues.

 

The National Executive Committee has considered requests for industrial action over this matter and taken the decision to instruct all ERU members NOT TO WORK ANY OVERTIME OR REST DAY WORKING between:

 

• 00:01 hours on Wednesday 30^th October and 23:59 hours on Friday 29^th November 2024

 

NB: The overtime ban will not be in place during your strike action in the pay dispute on Monday 4^th November 2024
