Dear RMT Members

DEFENDING JOBS, PENSIONS & AGREEMENTS – LONDON UNDERGROUND

Your RMT Lead Officer and Representatives have held discussions with LUL and this morning, assurances were received to address the issues regarding headcount and agreements in the Power Control Room.

The Company has withdrawn its unacceptable roster changes, which had the effect of reducing staff on duty in the control room and have also agreed to commence discussions with the aim of securing agreements on a number of rostering and working arrangements.

This matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee which has noted the advances made through negotiation and taken the decision to SUSPEND THE OVERTIME AND REST DAY WORKING BAN due to commence from 00:01 hours on Thursday 18th July. You are therefore instructed to book on for all shifts and work as normal.

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely

Michael Lynch

General Secretary
