Dismissal, A. Codd, Track Access Control – London Underground

Our Ref: LUL/4/1

14th December 2018

Dear Colleague,

Dismissal, A. Codd, Track Access Control – London Underground

As you are aware, your colleague Brother Anthony Codd was dismissed from London Underground and RMT balloted all Track Access Control members for industrial action over this blatant case of victimisation against an RMT member. Having secured a strong vote from you and your colleagues in favour of taking strike action, the NEC has noted that despite the best efforts of your RMT Lead Officer and Reps, the Company has not made any reasonable offer to settle this dispute and are continuing with their vendetta against Brother Codd.

The National Executive Committee has therefore taken the decision to call on all Track Access Controllers, Team Leaders and Duty Managers at Palestra House Track Access Control Centre to take strike action by NOT BOOKING ON FOR ANY SHIFTS THAT COMMENCE BETWEEN:-

• 19:00 hours Sunday 30th December 2018 to 18:59 hours on Monday 31st December 2018

I urge you all to stand firm together to demand that Brother Codd is reinstated and send a clear message to the Company that this disgraceful treatment of RMT members will not be tolerated.

STAND FIRM TOGETHER – SUPPORT THE ACTION
UNITY IS STRENGTH

I will keep you advised of all further developments.

Yours sincerely

Mick Cash
General Secretary
