DISMISSAL, KOREN KEEPIN, TRAIN MANAGER – LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY

 

Further to my previous correspondence with regards to the above dispute, I can now advise you that the Appeal Hearing for Sister Keepin has been held and our member has been successfully reinstated back to her substantive post.

 

The matter has been considered by the union’s National Executive Committee, who note that our member has been reinstated at the recent Appeal Hearing and I have been instructed to cancel the current live ballot for industrial action.

 

Therefore, the ballot for industrial action that was due to close on Thursday 16^th May 2024 has been cancelled with immediate effect.

 

The Executive Committee thanks our Newcastle Rail & Catering Branch and our LNER members at Newcastle, for their willingness and solidarity to defend one of their members facing an injustice.
