Dear RMT Member,

 

ECRO GRADING, SCOTLAND — NETWORK RAIL

 

A revised offer has been received from the company further to discussions that have been ongoing between your union and Network Rail under the Avoidance of Dispute procedure regarding a long-overdue regrade for you and your colleagues.

 

The following revised offer has since been received from Network Rail:

 

• A grade uplift from grade 7 to grade 8 effective from 1^st November 2023, applied to the box worked.

 

Having carefully considered the proposal, as well as the views of your representatives and Lead Officer, the union’s National Executive Committee has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues with a with a recommendation to vote ‘YES’ to accept the offer.

 

In order to allow the referendum to take place, members are advised that the ongoing industrial action short of a strike and the upcoming strike action is SUSPENDED. Therefore, members are instructed to book on to all shifts and work as normal.

 

The referendum will close at 11:00am on Tuesday 19^th March 2024.

 

Referendum Instructions

 

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 11:00am on Tuesday 19^th March 2024.
