Extended Train Preparation Schedule London Underground
LAST CHANCE TO VOTE – PLEASE DON'T WASTE IT VOTE YES TO BOTH QUESTIONS IN THE BALLOT FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION
The closing date for the ballot is Tuesday 2nd April 2019 – so if you haven't done so already – now is the time to vote. Due to new balloting laws I cannot stress enough how important it is that you fill in your ballot paper and return it as quickly as possible.
The Company’s proposals to extend the train preparation schedules are unacceptable and will decimate inspection frequencies beyond all recognition. Not only will this lead to major fleet issues, it will inevitably lead to more train failures in service putting unacceptable pressure on members and leaving the whole of LUL and the travelling public at significant increased risk. RMT has demanded that no changes to fleet preparation schedules take effect without agreement between LUL and RMT and that all current activity in relation to the matter is halted until full consultation and negotiation has taken place, including full examination of all safety aspects in relation to this matter.
I urge you to vote yes and return your paper immediately to make it clear that we will not accept these dangerous changes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER
