Dear RMT GTR contract On Trak agency worker

 

GTR CONTRACT ON TRAK AGENCY WORKERS

 

It was recently brought to my attention that On Trak Training and Employment Agency make those on their books working on the GTR contract pay a deposit for of £50 and £10 respectively for a mobile phone and PPE.  

 

I am very concerned about this - as items such as these should be provided free of any charge.

Your RMT National Executive Committee met recently to discuss this matter. 

 

Subsequent to their meeting I have written to On Track agency to demand that they cease this practice of deposits for equipment and PPE. I have also written to GTR Southern to request that as part of their contract monitoring process, they make sure that On Track do indeed cease this practise.
