Dear Colleague
IMPOSITION OF MERLIN SYSTEM – MITIE (NETWORK RAIL MANAGED STATIONS CONTRACT)
All Mitie (NWR managed stations contract) Cleaner and Cleaning Supervisor grade members at Bristol Temple Meads Station should now have received their ballot paper for the above dispute, from the independent scrutineer Civica. If you have not yet done so, please make sure you return your ballot paper to the scrutineer by the closing date of Thursday 19thSeptember 2024.
If you have not received your ballot paper or if you know of a colleague who has not received theirs, please email us at info@rmt.org.uk or contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706and a replacement ballot paper will be sent out to your home address by first class post.
Do not waste your vote. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the ballot for industrial action so we are not prevented from acting on our members’ wishes by the ballot thresholds.Failure to meet these thresholds means industrial action cannot happen so a high turnout is absolutely crucial.
Vote 'YES' for strike action and ‘YES’ for industrial action short of a strike. We must stand united in this dispute and send a clear message to Mitie that the imposition of the Merlin system is totally unacceptable.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE – RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR STRIKE ACTION
VOTE ‘YES’ FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE
I will, of course, keep you fully advised on any further developments.
Yours sincerely
