RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER
Dear RMT Member,
IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, CARDIFF S&T DEPOT — NETWORK RAIL
You should now have received and returned your ballot paper, which was posted to you on Friday 19th January 2024.
It is vital that we achieve the highest possible turnout and the highest possible ‘YES’ vote to maintain this mandate for continuous industrial, and demand that Network Rail resume discussions to resolve this long-running dispute over the imposition of unfair rosters.
If you have not yet returned your voting paper, then please do so as a matter of urgency as the ballot closes on Tuesday 6th February 2024. If you have not yet received your voting paper, then please contact the freephone helpline immediately on 0800 376 3706 or email info@rmt.org.uk to receive a replacement ballot paper.
I urge members to stand firm together for the strike action that is due to begin tomorrow and demonstrate your strength and commitment to achieving a reasonable resolution to this matter.
Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is “CES” (Civica Election Services). Letters from CES will also have the RMT logo – they are not Junk Mail and should be opened.
I will keep you advised of all further developments.
Yours sincerely
Michael Lynch
General Secretary
