IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, CARDIFF S&T DEPOT — NETWORK RAIL

 

Following the imposition of a detrimental roster at Cardiff S&T Depot, your negotiating team have been in discussion with Network Rail to attempt to seek a resolution to this matter. Despite the best attempts from your representatives, the roster remains in place, negatively affecting you work/life balance and impacting your health and wellbeing. 

 

This imposed roster undermines your Union and your hard work for the company, and the situation is unacceptable to your union and intolerable for members. Therefore, the National Executive Committee has considered this matter and instructed me to undertake a re-ballot of all affected members for strike action and action short of a strike. 

 

This is essential in order to keep the mandate for industrial action live, and to demonstrate that these roster changes are unworkable.
