IMPOSITION OF ROSTER, CARDIFF S&T DEPOT — NETWORK RAIL

 

FURTHER STRIKE ACTION CALLED

 

Network Rail are still refusing to resolve this significantly drawn-out dispute, over the unfair imposition of a roster which does not respect your work-life balance, nor does it consider your health and well-being. 

 

You and your colleagues have repeatedly taken weekend strike action, however Network Rail are still refusing to engage in meaningful negotiations with your union in order to resolve this ongoing dispute. Therefore, the National Executive Committee has added the below dates for industrial action, in addition to the action already called.

 

Members are instructed not to book on for any shifts that commence between:

 

• 17:01 hours on Friday 26^th January 2024 until 04:59 hours on Saturday 27^th January 2024
• 17:01 hours on Saturday 27^th January 2024 until 04:59 hours on Sunday 28^th January 2024

I urge you to continue to stand firm together and support the strike action until this matter is resolved. I will keep you advised of all further developments.
