JOINT WORKING GROUP – NATIONAL ROSTERING PRINCIPLES – NETWORK RAIL SIGNALLING STAFF
As you may be aware your National Operations Council reps have for some time been involved in detailed discussions as part of the National Rostering Principles Joint Working Group. Your reps have recently submitted a report to the union’s NEC advising that these discussions have now concluded and a new NRP document has been drafted for our consideration. Below you will find links to the draft NRP as well as other documents giving further detail for your assistance.
Please Note - The only grades covered by these proposals are Signallers, Crossing Keepers and the following four specific grades all based at Birmingham New Street Station; Duty Operations Managers, Station Co-ordinators, Platform Assistants & Platform Co-ordinators.
A meeting was arranged with our Route council representatives to discuss the new proposals following which the NEC has instructed me to carry out a referendum of members so you can have your say.
We are running a hybrid referendum on this occasion using electronic and postal voting. You will shortly receive an email from a company called “Choice Voting” which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 1100 hours Thursday 10th June 2021 when voting closes.
Members for whom we don’t have an email address will receive voting papers and the relevant documents by post.
You must have an email address in order to vote electronically so please ensure we have your up to date contact information. If we do not have your current email address, you or any of your colleagues haven’t received this email, or if you have any difficulties voting please contact us at email@example.com or via the National Helpline on 0800 376 3706.
