JUSTICE FOR STATION AND REVENUE STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND

Our Ref: LUL/14/2

13th February 2020

Dear Colleague

JUSTICE FOR STATION AND REVENUE STAFF – LONDON UNDERGROUND

You should have by now received your voting paper for the ballot to demand Justice for Revenue Staff and send a message to London Underground management that its plans to introduce a new grade of Revenue Control Officer is completely unacceptable. This cost-cutting exercise and attempt to create a two-tier workforce must be defeated.

The closing date for the ballot is next Thursday 20th February 2020 – so if you haven't done so already – now is the time to vote. Due to new balloting legislation I cannot stress enough how important it is that you fill in your ballot paper and return it as quickly as possible.

If you have not yet received your voting paper, then please contact the freephone helpline on 0800 376 3706, the RMT switchboard on 020 7387 4771 or email info@rmt.org.uk and we shall get a replacement ballot paper sent out to you. Additionally, if you are aware of a Revenue Control Inspector colleague who has not received their ballot paper, ask them to call one of the above numbers to update their details and to receive a replacement ballot paper.

It is vital that we achieve the highest possible turnout and the highest possible vote saying YES for action as the government’s very stringent anti-union laws means that every vote counts.

Important to note: The Scrutineer for RMT Ballots and Elections is now “Civica Elections Services”. Letters from Civica are not junk mail and should be opened.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER

VOTE “YES” FOR STRIKE ACTION &

VOTE “YES” FOR INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE

Yours sincerely
