LONDON & ANGLIA REGIONAL COUNCIL EVENT – EUSTON STATION

15th February 2024

Dear RMT Member,

LONDON & ANGLIA REGIONAL COUNCIL EVENT – EUSTON STATION

Please see the below message from your Regional Organiser, Kathy Mazur: -

“I would like to invite members to meet colleagues from the London & Anglia Regional Council and myself, your Branch Secretary at 10:00am on Monday 19th February 2024 at Euston Station’s booking-on point.

This is an opportunity for existing members to meet activists within their Union – but also and importantly – for non-members to engage with the Union and join-up.

Your Regional Council has a plan of recruitment activities of which this is one, we need to increase our organised presence across the transport industry. Aside from the individual benefits of being a member of Britain’s finest trade union we all benefit from the greater numbers we have and can bring more power to bear in meetings with employers over collective matters.

So please try and attend yourself and encourage all your workmates to do so to. If they are not already part of the RMT they need to be, and this is an excellent opportunity for them to find out more and join-up.

We’ve recently gained trade union recognition for Revenue Protection Officers at Euston and we want to continue to extend the benefits of RMT collectively negotiating with employers to those parts of the transport industry where we don’t at present.

Both myself and your Regional Council members look forward to seeing you at 10:00am on Monday, please do pop-in and say hello, and do your workmates a favour in encouraging them to come along and find out why they need to join.

Yours sincerely,

Kathy Mazur

Yours sincerely,
