REMINDER TO VOTE

PLEASE RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER BY 

NO LATER THAN THURSDAY 12^TH SEPTEMBER 2024

MANAGERS WORKING AS GUARDS - CROSS COUNTRY TRAINS

 

All Cross Country Trains Senior Conductor and Train Manager grade members should now have received their ballot paper for the above dispute, from the independent scrutineer Civica. If you have not yet done so, please make sure you return your ballot paper to the scrutineer by the closing date of Thursday 12^th September 2024.

 

If you have not received your ballot paper or if you know of a colleague who has not received theirs, please email us at info@rmt.org.uk or contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706and a replacement ballot paper will be sent out to your home address by first class post.

 

Do not waste your vote. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the ballot for industrial action so we are not prevented from acting on our members’ wishes by the ballot thresholds.Failure to meet these thresholds means industrial action cannot happen so a high turnout is absolutely crucial. 

 

Vote 'YES' for strike action and ‘YES’ for industrial action short of a strike. We must stand united and send a clear message to Cross Country Trains that we will not allow them to create a two-tier workforce. We must defend the safety critical role of the Guard and demand the company cease the process of managers working as contingency staff.
