Dear RMT Member,

 

OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC PAYMENTS – EUROSTAR (CONTRACTED COMPANIES)

 

The RMT Union are currently in discussion with Eurostar over a proposed offer on Premium Payments for working during the Paris Olympics. 

 

Therefore, as you currently work for a contracted company in the broader Eurostar Family, I have written to ask that the company provides a commitment that they will match any payments to Eurostar staff to you and your colleagues for working on the Eurostar Contract. I have demanded that this payment is of equal value to what is being offered to members working within Eurostar. 

 

I have provided the company with a deadline of 12pm on Tuesday 18^th June 2024 to respond and confirm that they will be making these payments.

 

The matter will be placed back before the Union’s National Executive Committee for further consideration. I will continue to keep members advised on this situation.
