REMINDER TO VOTE

PLEASE RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER 

BY NO LATER THAN THURSDAY 8^TH AUGUST 2024

OPERATIONAL DUTIES, TRAIN MANAGERS – AVANTI WEST COAST

 

All Avanti West Coast Train Manager grade members should now have received their ballot paper for the above dispute, from the independent scrutineer Civica. If you have not yet done so, please make sure you return your ballot paper to the scrutineer by the closing date of Thursday 8^th August 2024.

 

If you have not received your ballot paper or if you know of a colleague who has not received theirs, please email us at ballot@rmt.org.uk or contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 and a replacement ballot paper will be sent out to your home address by first class post.

 

Do not waste your vote. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the ballot for industrial action so that we are not prevented from acting on our members’ wishes by the ballot thresholds. Failure to meet these thresholds means industrial action cannot happen so a high turnout is absolutely crucial. 

 

It is imperative that we stand together and demonstrate our strength of feeling to the company, that we will not allow Avanti West Coast to bully the Train Manager Grade and force through detrimental changes. I urge you all to use your vote and return your ballot paper immediately.
