PAY FOR PERFORMANCE – DEFEND YOUR PENSIONABLE PAY
TRANSPORT FOR LONDON
As you will be no doubt aware, RMT continues to reject TfL pay offers based on the Pay for Performance (PfP) framework. This includes the PfP element of London Underground’s ‘#yourjourneymatters’ – a new scheme the company are introducing, complete with a revised Performance and Development form.
Our opposition to PfP continues and all RMT members are commended for refusing to accept TfL’s Pay for Performance proposals. The on-going industrial action short of a strike has been in place for a considerable amount of time but remains solidly supported and I urge you all to continue taking part in the following industrial action.
Not to work beyond your contractual hours. This includes all non-contractual overtime, refusing out of hours’ phone calls, taking full meal breaks and VDU breaks.
Not to buddy or mentor agency staff within Customer Experience roles.
Not to volunteer for Travel Ambassador duties or any other duties outside your Job Description.
Not to participate in the Performance and Development Review process.
Some members may have received invites to PDR meetings under the branding ‘#yourjourneymatters’, and I wish to draw your attention to the final bullet point above and the instruction not to participate in any Performance and Development Review process.
By all members standing firm together and continuing to show your support for the above industrial action, we can continue to demonstrate our opposition to PfP which affects all grades and is nothing less than a concerted attack on the future of the TfL Pension Fund.
