PAY UPDATE – TRAIN OPERATING COMPANIES

 

Your RMT negotiating team met with senior DfT officials to discuss pay for our members in the train driver and all other grades bargaining groups within the Train Operating Companies.

 

For train drivers, the discussions were for three pay years - 2022/23 to 2024/25. For all other grades, the discussions were for two pay years - 2023/24 and 2024/25.

 

Having discussed the outline proposals for the two bargaining groups, we now await confirmation in writing from the Department for Transport for both groups, following governmental processes.

 

As soon as these written proposals are received, they will be placed before your National Executive Committee for consideration.

 

I will update you on all further developments as soon as your NEC has considered the documentation.
