PAY UPDATE - TRAIN OPERATING COMPANIES

 

Your RMT negotiating team have been in constant dialogue with senior DfT officials to discuss pay for our members in the train driver and all other grades bargaining groups within the Train Operating Companies.

 

The Union are still awaiting proposals from the Department for Transport. Your RMT negotiating team are applying constant pressure on the DfT and are routinely asking the DfT to provide a set of pay proposals that can be placed before your National Executive Committee. 

 

Whilst I appreciate that this delay is frustrating, I will continue to keep members advised. Members should also be aware, that communication relating to this matter will firstly come from the official RMT text and email account and not via social media platforms. 

 

I will update you on all further developments as soon as the Union has received any documentation and once the NEC has considered the proposals.
