Promotion to Chief Engineer, Portsmouth to Fishbourne Route - Wightlink Ltd

 

Further discussions have taken place between Wightlink management and your RMT Representatives and during these discussions, management tabled a proposal. I am pleased to inform you that your Representatives have negotiated an Engineering Progression Action plan. I can also confirm that Wightlink has recently advertised a Chief Engineer’s role on the Portsmouth to Fishbourne route and have only accepted internal applicants.

Your union's National Executive Committee has recently considered the proposal and has instructed me to hold an e-referendum of you and your colleagues so that you can have your say on the offer. The National Executive Committee believes that these proposals represent a step in the right direction and are therefore recommending that you vote 'YES' to accept the proposal.

 

The online referendum will close at 10am on Thursday 26^th September 2024.

Members will shortly receive an email from 'RMT Referenda' which will allow you to register your vote. Please follow the instructions and make sure you complete this by no later than 10:00 hours on Thursday 26^th September 2024.
