PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF EXEROS CAMERAS, ON TRACK MACHINES – COLAS RAIL

 

Further to previous correspondence regarding this matter, your Lead Officer has continued to address members’ concerns about the proposed introduction Of Internal Dome Cameras and audio recording with the company. These matters have been discussed with your representatives and an updated draft policy has been shared, which is available for members here: click here to view the draft policy.

 

Your Lead Officer has reported that, although the Internal Dome Camera remains part of the proposals, there are stricter protocols around both its use and data access. Additionally, the audio recording facility has now been disabled by the supplier company. 

 

The National Executive Committee have considered this matter and has instructed me to organise an online members’ meeting to ensure that you can have your views heard and that you remain fully informed about all developments in this matter.

 

Full details of the upcoming meeting will be circulated shortly. In the meantime, members are advised to read the draft policy ahead of the meeting.
