RATES OF PAY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE 2020/21 – STAGECOACH SOUTH (ANDOVER)
 
Referring to my previous correspondence, I write to advise you that your union has attended the Avoidance of Dispute meeting and the following revised two-option offer has been tabled:-
 
Option One
  • An increase of 2%, effective from 12th December 2021 (see below table)
  • A one-off lump sum payment at the level shown in the table below would be made to reflect the fact that amongst other things, we were unable to undertake a pay review in 2020.
  • The next pay review would be due on its natural anniversary of 12th September 2022

Option Two
  • Rates for those with more than six months service would rise by a flat 22p per hour, as detailed in the below table from 12th December 2021
  • A one-off lump sum payment as the level shown in the table below would be made to reflect the fact that amongst other things, we were unable to undertake a pay review in 2020.
  • The next pay review would be due on its natural anniversary of 12th September 2022

The lump sum would be payable as soon as possible after acceptance of the above offer and would be payable to all those employed as at 12th September 2021 at the level appropriate to their length of service/grade on that date.
This offer has been considered by your union’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and it has concluded that this offer does not meet our aspirations. Despite our best efforts to resolve the matter, the company appear to show no interest in making an offer that is worthy of acceptance. Therefore, the NEC has instructed that we are now in dispute with the company and a ballot for industrial action is to be held. 
 
Once the appropriate record checks have taken place, the ballot notice will be served, and ballot papers will dispatched shortly after
