RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 – ROYAL FLEET AUXILIARY

BALLOT CLOSES IN TWO WEEKS!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - MAKE SURE YOU VOTE!

RE-BALLOT CLOSES ON THURSDAY 14th NOVEMBER 2019

1st November 2019

Our Ref: SH/0001/RFA

Dear Colleagues

RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 – ROYAL FLEET AUXILIARY

As you are aware, the re-ballot closes in two weeks’ time (Thursday 14th November 2019). We must ensure that we do everything in our power to send the RFA a clear message that we will not continue to accept pay freezes.

I urge you not to waste your vote and to vote 'YES' for strike action and 'YES' for industrial action short of a strike. EVERY VOTE COUNTS.

If you have not voted already – now is the time to do so. Not every RMT member in the RFA will receive this e-mail or a text message – so speak to your colleagues – make sure that they have voted as well. It is essential that we can communicate quickly with our members – therefore if you are aware of a workmate doesn’t receive these e-mails (or our text messages) – then ask them to contact the RMT ASAP - so we can update our records with their e-mail address and/or mobile number.  If you realise that the workmate you are speaking to is not in our union – then encourage them to join the RMT - https://www.rmt.org.uk/about/join-rmt/

If you have not received your ballot paper please contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 or 0207 387 4771 and ask for the Industrial Relations Department as soon as possible. It is imperative that we get a massive return in the re-ballot for industrial action so we are not prevented from acting on members’ wishes by the new ballot thresholds.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR VOTE - RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER

RETURN YOUR BALLOT PAPER TO THE SCRUNTINEER BY THURSDAY 14 NOVEMBER 2019

Yours sincerely
