VOTE YES TO BOTH QUESTIONS WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR BALLOT PAPER

Further to my previous correspondence in relation to the ballot for industrial action of members at Arriva Traincare over the 2017 pay award. I am writing to remind you that ballot papers will be despatched to your home address today. Therefore, you should receive your ballot paper in the next few days. If you do not received a ballot paper then please contact the RMT Freephone Helpline urgently on 0800 376 3706 or the RMT switchboard on 020 7387 4771 and ask for the industrial relations department, where a replacement ballot paper will be sent to you by first class post.

Remember – the ballot will close on Tuesday 2nd May 2017. Therefore, it is imperative that as soon as you receive your ballot paper you fill it in and return it in the freepost envelope provided. Do not leave it until the last minute, the sooner you vote the better. I urge you all to vote ‘YES’ to both questions and ensure that we get a massive turnout in this ballot. We must send management a clear and concrete message.

Additionally, if you are aware of a colleague who has not received their ballot paper, ask them to call on of the above numbers to update their details and to receive their replacement ballot paper.
