Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2018 – Leadec
Referring to my previous correspondence dated 9th August 2018, you will recall that the pay offer was accepted in good faith by your union. For ease of reference the accepted pay offer is:-
• An increase of 3.4% to all hourly rates, effective 1st April 2018.
• A reduction in the base working week from 37.5 to 37 with no loss of pay, this is equivalent to a further 1.3%.
• For those based at Wembley and Euston, an extra 0.05p will be added to the hourly rate. This does not apply to other locations.
The company is now trying to claim that the hourly rate is £8.88 and not £9.00. This relates to the reduction in the working week from 37.5 hours to 37 hours.
The matter has been considered by your National Executive Committee (NEC) and it has instructed me to hold a meeting with your representatives to ascertain their views on what steps to take over this issue.
