Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2018 – RFA

Whilst you and your representatives in the RFA have shown great resolve and determination to date in the current dispute with the company for fair pay, you might be aware, because of the changes in the 2016 Trade Union Act it has become necessary to re-ballot you and your colleagues for industrial action. Therefore, your union's National Executive Committee has recently considered the matter and taken the decision to re-ballot all our RFA members so that we can continue with the pay dispute.

Your union is asking you to return a massive YES vote just as you did in the previous ballot to help your union keep up the fight for pay justice. Only by returning a massive YES vote can we heap more pressure on management and continue to build public and political support and resolve this dispute with a decent pay increase.

The ballot for industrial action will open on Wednesday 2nd October 2019. Ballot papers will be sent to your home address shortly after this date and I urge you to vote YES for STRIKE ACTION and INDUSTRIAL ACTION SHORT OF A STRIKE when you receive your voting paper. It is imperative that you do not waste your vote.

If you have not received your ballot paper by Wednesday 20th November 2019 please contact the RMT Helpline on 0800 376 3706 and request a replacement voting paper or you can email info@rmt.org.uk. Alternatively, you may wish to contact RMT Head Office Reception on 0207 387 4771 and ask for the Industrial Relations Department.
