Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2018 – Servest (Great Western Railway Contract)
In reference to the above, I write to inform you of this year’s increase. You will recall that a multi-year deal was accepted last year and the increase for 2018 is as follows:-
• All members whose pay is directly aligned to the Living Wage (LW) or the London Living Wage (LLW) will receive an increase of the new LW £8.75 per hour for those outside London and an increase of the new LLW of £10.20 per hour for those in the London area. This will be effective from 1st February 2018.
• Supervisors and Team Leaders whose pay is directly aligned to the LW or the LLW will also receive pay uplift in their differential pay component. This will be in proportion to the percentage increase of the LW/LLW, effective 1st February 2018.
• All remaining members, including Supervisors who are not subject to the LW or LLW because their pay rate already exceeds these rates will receive an increase to their hourly pay equal to the RPI as at the end of February 2018 or capped at the percentage rate for the Outer London Living Wage (max 3.5%), effective 1st April 2018.
You should receive your increase at the earliest opportunity after 1st February 2018 for those members subject to the LW and the LLW. For those who already exceed these rates, your increase will be paid after 1st April 2018.
