Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2018 – Stadler Rail UK (Merseyrail Contract)
In line with Union policy, a pay claim for an increase in pay and improved terms and conditions was submitted to the Company. The Regional Organiser has met with them and the following offer has been tabled:-
• A 3.6% increase or £800 (whichever is higher), effective from April 2018 to March 2019
• An increase of February 2019 RPI or 2.5% (whichever is higher), effective from April 2019 to December 2019.
The next pay anniversary date will be January 2020.
The National Executive Committee has considered this matter and noted the unanimous views of the Lead Officer and Company Council Representatives that this offer is accepted without the need for a referendum. The NEC has therefore taken the decision to inform the Company of our acceptance and I have asked that the increase, and backdated monies, is paid to you and your colleagues at the earliest opportunity.
