FURTHER STRIKE ACTION CALLED AT STM
RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 – STM (ARRIVA RAIL LONDON CONTRACT) TRAVEL SAFE OFFICERS
Despite the best efforts of your negotiating team, the company are still refusing to make an offer which meets our aspirations. The matter has been considered by the National Executive Committee (NEC) and it has instructed that Travel Safe Officers take the following strike action;-
• Members are instructed not to book on for any shifts which commence between 13:00 on Monday 23rd September 2019 to 23:30 hours on Wednesday 25th September 2019
You and your colleagues have already demonstrated a clear sense of solidarity and unity. Now is the time to back this result up with a solid display of industrial action. I urge all members to stand firm together and support this action. Your union believes that you should be adequately rewarded for all your hard work. The company believes that they can pay their workers a pittance and get away with it. It is time to prove them wrong.
The company are aware that as always, RMT remains available for talks and is ready to enter into negotiations in order resolve the current dispute.
STAND FIRM TOGETHER – SUPPORT THE STRIKE
UNITY IS STRENGTH
