RATES OF PAY AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE 2018 – TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS
I am writing to advise you that formal pay negotiations have concluded and the following offer has been received from the company:-
• A basic rate of pay increase of 3.6% effective from 1st April 2018.
• A one day joint working party will be convened to discuss the family friendly policies at TPE.
• The waiting period for parental leave will be reduced from 52 to 26 weeks service.
The above offer covers all Grades at TPE aside from Train Drivers.
After careful consideration, your National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and the back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity.
