Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2019 – Cross Country Trains
Referring to my previous correspondence dated 14th October 2019, I write to you again to inform you of the latest developments in the matter of your pay rise.
As you are no doubt aware, you and our colleagues have been balloted for industrial action and the ballot was due to close tomorrow. On 16th October 2019, further dialogue took place with the company and it agreed to remove the ‘strings’ attached to the pay offer. Your negotiating team have met with your RMT Company Council representatives who have agreed that the offer is now acceptable. For clarification purposes, the offer without strings is as follows:-
• A one-year deal of 3% or £878.00 as a minimum across all grades and to include dynamic allowances, backdated to 28th May 2019.
Your National Executive Committee has considered the matter and it has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer and that we are no longer in dispute. This instruction has been carried out and I have requested that the increase and the back monies are paid at the earliest opportunity.
