Rates of Pay & Conditions of Service 2019 – Trenitalia C2C
In line with union policy, a pay claim for a substantial increase in pay and improved terms and conditions has been submitted. The Regional Organiser has met with the company and the following offer has been tabled:-
An increase of 3.0% increase to basic salary and dynamic allowances effective 1st July 2019.
Following confirmation that all the new 35-hour week Retail and RPO rosters have been agreed, there will be a reduction in the working week from 37 hours to 35 hours, effective 12th January 2020. Full time staff will receive an additional two hours pay per week to recognise that the 35-hour week rosters have not yet been implemented (proposed implementation date 29th March 2020).
The hourly rate will be increased to reflect 35-hours FTE so any hours worked above 35 will attract a higher hourly rate of pay for both full time and part time staff from 12th January 2020. For the purpose of clarity, no additional ARD will be accrued between 12th January 2020 and the implementation date for reduction in the working week as the benefit will be paid through the monetary offer outlined above.
A commitment to form an equalities committee from January 2020.
Having consulted with your Representatives and the Regional Organiser, the National Executive Committee has instructed me to inform the company of our acceptance of the offer. This instruction has been carried out and the increase and any back monies should hopefully be paid in your March pay run.
